Tanzania mining tax analysis

These two Tanzania mining tax models (for gold and for nickel) are the workings behind the blog post ‘Tanzania strikes a better balance with its mining fiscal regime.’ This post discusses the evolution of the country’s fiscal regime for metallic minerals after it was revised in 2017 and then again in 2020. The model can be downloaded and reused to check the results of the analysis and test different assumptions, or adapted for different purposes.
